Very good hotel for food offerings in a lovely environment by the sea. The chef was very kind to meet and ask me what I would like for my vegan meal and he could cook me anything as they ain't available on the menu. So I decided to have a vegan burger. Dessert was also amazing!

We were camping at the Jura Hotel for two nights. The staff was the most friendliest, incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. The shower block was big & clean and they even have a washing machine and dryer. Big shout out the guy working evenings at the pub on Aug 1st and 2nd - thank you!

This was our second stay and despite a drop in service and food quality due to staffing issues, the hotel still rates 5-stars thanks to the way manager Gary looks after his guests, and the rooms still feature comfortable beds and good showers with lots of hot water. Residents lounge is equally comfortable and welcoming, and breakfast is hearty and generous. The pub here is the social hub of the island, and the live music sessions hosted were fantastic. Restaurant was previously top rate and the bar used to have a fantastic selection of the island's whisky, especially single casks and limited editions. Fingers crossed that the new owner does what's needed to recruit proper chef and properly stock the bar as it once was. Would stay again but am hoping that the hotel can get back to its previous high standards. 🤞🏼

Visited for lunch today. Good menu and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful location and it was warm enough to eat outside.

What an incredibly lovely hotel! Picturesque views, unbelievably good food (the restaurant is heaven!) and an awesome, friendly pub. If you're at all interested in Jura, do yourself a favor and stay here. It's peaceful yet lively, cozy yet spacious. We watched red deer graze on the front lawn while sipping delicious Jura whisky from the distillery next door. Gary is an amazing manager and lovely host who really cares about his establishment. Highly recommended staying here!

Idyllic location on the seafront, with outside tables, bar and restaurant. Very friendly and efficient staff. We stayed in a sea facing room (room 4) with the same fantastic view (worth paying the extra). The menu was fairly simple, but tasty and well cooked. Two minute walk to the pier running boat trips, shop and café. Always something to watch with boats coming in and out.

Excellent place. Everyone is so friendly and it seems as though the bar here is the social centre of the Island of Jura. There is a great selection of food, the breakfasts are enormous, and the rooms are comfy. The lounge is spacious and quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If you have a tent you can pitch it on the lawn between the hotel and the sea.

Fantastic hotel, Gary hotel manager who had been in post a week made us feel very welcome. Gordon behind the bar was great company. Room 10 on the 1st floor had great views out to sea. Gary had brought in new chefs whose food was excellent. Can thoroughly recommend the haggis fritters. Visiting in April we had glorious sunshine that made this trip all the more special. Thoroughly recommend staying here. We did the whisky tasting tour which is about 20 paces from the hotel. Tour cost £50 but thoroughly worth it given the 5 large whiskys you get to try one of which was from a cask that would be £700 a bottle.
